We are pleased to share our certified organic, high–quality East African Shea Butter. This butter is derived from the Vitellaria Nilotica tree, a subspecies that grows in Northern Uganda and Southern Sudan. While all unrefined shea butters are known for their impressive moisturizing and restorative benefits, the East African Nilotica variety stands out. It contains a higher level of olein, the liquid fraction of shea, which gives it a softer, smoother feel and makes it easier to apply compared to standard shea butters.
